PARENTS! To give your child the best educational experience possible, we’re excited to  raise funds for PTA Events, Field Trips, Teacher Grants, and Playground Equipment! And we’re hosting a Fun Run to make that happen. Family and friends anywhere in the world can support our school by giving pledges toward the number of laps your student will run on the day of the Fun Run on Nov. 3rd. Our 2-week Fun Run program kicks off on Oct. 24th!

Plus, leading up to the Fun Run, students will learn how to be brave and live with character through an unbelievable character theme, Castle Quest.

2. Connect to sponsors—friends and family who can donate to help our school.

3. Cheer on your child! (Come to the Fun Run on Nov. 3rd)

4. Collect! Pledge money is due one week after the run. Checks are payable to Hooper PTA.

Family Skate Night is October 2nd at The Layton Classic Fun Center! Bring your own skates, rollerblades, or scooters or rent them at a discounted rate. Skates are only $1 to rent if you show your stamp. Other activities are discounted also. Don't forget to wear your Hooper Elementary (or blue) shirts!

Join PTA

It's a common misconception that if you join PTA you have to volunteer at every event. While we love to have volunteers, we understand that life is busy. The money raised from PTA membership is used to support our local and State PTA, making it possible to fund the many programs PTA offers. But, it's not just about the money.....when you join PTA you become a voice for the kids at our school. Members are invited to come to our monthly meetings to share their voice. All children in our school are benefited from the funds raised and programs offered by the PTA. Every Child, One Voice.
The classes with the highest percentage of PTA memberships as of Sept. 29th will earn an ice cream party.

      As the PTA at Hooper Elementary, we are excited about the upcoming school year. Our goal this year is to unite faculty, students, parents and the community.   We believe in the Utah PTA’s mission statement: Every Child, One Voice.  We know that in order to help our students to be their best, it takes the involvement of everyone.  We would love to unite with you in enriching the education of our Hooper Mustang students.  
   
             We are already off to a great start this year!  Thank you to everyone that came out to back to school night.   We appreciate all the support we receive from students, parents, grandparents and teachers. We couldn't do what we do without you!
